Welcome to the New 2009 SIM Conference Website

Welcome! We have just launched the all new 2009 International SIM Conference website and we’re very excited about some new things happening at the conference this year.
The video that you see below is one that Mona and I watched last month when we took part in a global online conference. We loved this video because it captured a number of the rationales that we have been kicking around here during our SIM conference planning. We think that this will help you begin to get into our heads our reasons for remodeling this summer’s conference.
The video will take about 20 minutes of your time.
Here is a link to the ning site that contained the original video.

Thanks for sharing this video, Patty! I think their comments on using slideware as a default method of presenting information are really good. I’m also interested to see how the Pecha-kucha session might work out. It seems like a great opportunity for conference attendees to demonstrate some creativity and share some useful knowledge at the same time.
I’ve posted a little blurb about the new site in the Stratepedia blog. Just so everyone knows, Amber and I are planning on a couple of sessions, and will be generally available otherwise if you have questions about Stratepedia or social media. See you all in July!
